Kap Kap Admiralty La Korrigane 5 cm / Galerie Flak Price on request
Kap-Kaps were worn as head ornaments or as pendants by high-status individuals from the Solomon and Admiralty Islands. They were made from precious materials, such as turtleshell and giant clam shell. They were indicators of rank and wealth.

This ornament comes by descent from the Van den Broeck d'Obrenan family, famous for participating in the expedition of La Korrigane conducted from 1934 to 1936 in the South Seas.
